Wisdom and Inspiration from Around the World

We can all learn something from every other individual on this planet, and yet we aren’t hungry enough for their knowledge to ask. As I’ve traveled around the world and become more curious with each passing day, I ask people this question (when I feel comfortable enough): “If you could give one piece of life advice, what would it be?”

As you will notice, some people give more than one example, and although I don’t ask anyone to explain their answers, most people do. It has been one of the most humbling personal projects I’ve ever worked on. It has given me insight into so many different walks of life, provoked thoughts I probably wouldn’t stumble on by myself, and encouraged me to listen to the truths of others.

I hope you find a piece of advice here that may resonate with you in whatever phase of life you may find yourself in.

“Own and live in your truth. No one can deny your story, your circumstances, your journey, or your struggles. Your lived experiences are unique to your story and they’re inspiring the next person whether you realize it or not. So speak your truth, live in it, and own it.”
